Best Qatar Hayden to Ducati Racing
Losail - Nicky Hayden is very pleased to finish in fourth place at Qatar MotoGP. United States rider admitted that it was his best performance since joining the Ducati.
Hayden failed three podium finishes after only narrowly lost after approximately 0.011 seconds from Andrea Dovizioso. The 2006 world champion admitted that the bike is good enough after going through a fairly tight race.
"I do not expect too tough during the race but the team has made minor changes and it makes a big difference. Since a lap I already felt good warming," Hayden said as quoted by Auto Sport.
However, Hayden was disappointed because he was close to the podium. "So close to the podium but I did not really exist where it hurts. But this is a long season and there are still many opportunities ahead of us."
Still, Hayden still feel these results are the best results for Ducati since joining the team in 2009. Moreover teammate can not finish the race because of a fall on lap five.
"Sorry for Casey (Stoner) but the fourth position with all that heavy enough there it was my best result," said Hayden.
