On the 1st January 2007, I predicted ten things, It is now nearly September so time to review them and see where we are at:-

Not only are things hotting up in the fuel competition, it feels like summer here.

My house is large French house built to withstand the heat living on the South-West coast. This is great when it is hot but the winter can get cold! For example, I work from home and today I have the heating on. I just went outside and it is hot!! I checked the thermometer on my window ledge, it states 32C in the sun. I should be grateful for not needing aircon!

Trying to spice up the fuelmyblog blog and am thinking of getting guest writers. It is a great way to communicate with the fuelers and sometimes a change is very welcomed, some decent writing would make it better I think..

We are launching a new competition on fuelmyblog today, entitled "view from my window".

My picture was taken from my front door today. It made me realise a few things, it looks really French our square or "place". I also realised how much I enjoy looking out of my window gazing at the world rushing by, right now, the birds are chirping and Spring is definitely in the air.

Sorry I have been away so long, I have been creating www.fuelmyblog.com , now I have relaunched it and I think it looks great.

So, after reading over 2000 blogs I have decided to change directions with this blog.

From now on, I am going to review restaurants and bars in La Rochelle and London.

I love it!!

I decided to make Fuelmyblog.com free to advertise for all bloggers.

I did it because ultimately, I wanted to create an index of all good blogs, by charging, I would be unfairly giving people that blog for money an advantage.

What is my angle?

Ultimately, fuelmyblog.com is quickly becoming more than a hobby, it is time consuming reading over all blogs added. I need to manually check for content and quality. I will be asking companies to sponsor the site as time goes on. My first few days have proved to be quite fruitful in terms of traffic. my alexa ranking peaked at 64,521 yesterday. This is due mainly to press releases and the effort put into promoting the free adverts.

So, over the next couple of weeks, I'll keep you updated.
