His art is always very personal and passionate, and Kanye West's song ?Mama's Boyfriend? leaked on the internet yesterday.
The track was originally supposed to be included on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, but when all was said and done it didn?t make the cut.
?Boyfriend? was written by Kanye from the vantage point of himself as a five-year-old watching his mother entertain a slew of love interests.
West raps, "Trying to get to know me homey, just kill the charm/ You ain't interested in me, you just trying to f--- my mom."
Expressing his displeasure in one particular suitor, Kanye declares, "I ain't going to sleep no time soon, and when I do, I'm sleepin' in my Mama's room."
Towards the end of the track, West realizes that he?s become like the men he hated as a child. "I never liked you n---as, who knew one day I'd be just like you n---as?"
