This little gem was originally painted for the ‘Old Car in Florida Challenge’ on the Daily Paintworks site. This particular challenge was hosted by Carol Marine. This was a fun little piece and not my first car, by any means. One of my most memorable was a Ferrari Testarossa along with the portrait of Fiat’s owner published on the cover of Manufacturing Engineering magazine back in 1987.

Art Cards, Editions and Originals (ACEO) are an offshoot of Artist Trading Cards. ACEOs originated when some artists began to create cards to sell, in addition to trading among themselves. There is but one rule to these miniature works of art; they must measure 3.5 x 2.5” about the same size as modern baseball cards.

The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a sports derivative of the Ford Escort. It was available from 1992-96 in very limited numbers. It was instantly recognisable due to its large "whale tail" rear spoiler. The main selling point was the Cosworth YBT engine, a highly tunable turbocharged 2-litre engine which had an output of 227 PS (167 kW; 224 hp) in standard trim.

The Škoda Superb is a large family car primarily built by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto as its flagship car. The versions produced from 2001 to date are based on the platform of the Volkswagen Passat, but are elongated by 10 centimetres (3.9 in), and shares its major mechanicals and powertrain with the Passat, and therefore the larger resources of Škoda Auto's parent company Volkswagen Group. It is currently the largest and most luxurious model in Škoda's lineup.
The Superb name is a resurrection, originally used by Škoda for a similarly large models, between 1934 and 1942.

When you see a Lamborghini, you see power, performance, elegance and a very unique style. It's top of the line both in and out. It makes heads turn and (fill in the blank) drop whenever it drives by. An avid fan of the car, Japanese designer 74式 has this mustardy yellow colored Lamborghini papercraft (Gallardo) waiting on his garage for you to download. But before we head on to the pattern, would you believe that the Italian State Police (equivalent to the Highway Patrol here in the US) uses Lamborghinis as their patrol vehicles? I didn't believed it until I saw that BBC NEWS article below.
