Katie Couric Considering Multiple Network Offers Posted: 16 Mar 2011 11:03 AM PDT Katie Couric's contract as host of CBS' "Evening News" expires at the end of May and a source close to the anchor told Access Hollywood that she's entertaining multiple offers from different networks. According to the source, most of the networks – including NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN – are offering the 54-year-old newswoman deals that include a syndicated show and also involvement with a news division. |

A new poll about women's shoe shopping habits came up at work yesterday and our boss asked people in the room to guess how many pairs of shoes they thought the average woman owns. A person guessed 6. Another guessed 20. I guessed 100, only half jokingly. A new national ShopSmart magazine poll reveals that women own an average of 17 pairs of shoes (down from 19 four years ago). Seventeen pairs of shoes! Are you kidding me? |
